Brands Lighting Opens Sales & Marketing Office
in New York City
Lithonia and other brands will offer the New York area market improved
service spearheaded by new VP
Conyers, GA. February 9, 2006. Acuity Brands Lighting,
North America’s largest lighting fixture manufacturer with leading
brands such as Lithonia, Holophane, Gotham, Hydrel and Peerless, has
opened a new sales and marketing office in order to increase its service
to the New York City lighting market.
Sero Cardamone,
who has fifteen years of lighting market experience, has been appointed
Vice President of New York Business Development. “New York continues to
grow in importance in the world of lighting, with its influence
accelerating around the country and the world. New technologies, new
products and new applications are changing the industry, and Acuity
Brands Lighting believes that it can offer lighting designers,
architects, engineers, contractors, lighting distributors and others the
most efficient service with this new direct-to-market structure,”
according to Mr. Cardamone.
Prior to this
announcement, sales representation in New York for the company was
handled by the Spectralume sales agency, which will continue its
relationship with Acuity Brands Lighting serving the Northern New Jersey
market.
The new Acuity
Brands Lighting facility will be located in Manhattan and will provide
value and service to customers in all 5 boroughs of New York City;
Westchester, Putnam, and Rockland Counties; Nassau and Suffolk counties
on Long Island. The company will issue an announcement when the sales
